Recognition from BJMP

This Monday, our new chaplain trainees visited the La Trinidad District Jail for their first ministry visit. When the team showed up, they were surprised to find that a celebration was going on. The celebration was dual purpose. It was recognition of the completion of major physical renovations to the facilities, and a recognition of major partners.

We actually were rather fortunate to show up there. The jail appeared to forget to tell us about the activity. However, the ceremony was scheduled during the time we normally visit so we were able to attend. (Hmmm…. maybe they did NOT forget.)

It was a nice time, and a great time to recognize the partnership between various organizations and the jail for the benefit of inmates.
